UMD is nationally ranked for everything from athletics to academics but few know of the school’s impressive $350 million annual program of research. So C+C created 57 banners (30 x 60 inches each) with pictures of leading faculty researchers (including two Nobel Laureates), and descriptions of their accomplishments. Now the light poles to which they are attached campus-wide provide both illumination and inspiration.
