Lucinda Crabtree President
As President and Founder of Crabtree + Company, Lucinda Crabtree oversees a team frequently called upon to craft everything from museum exhibits to website interactives that explain the challenges of science and the fragility of nature.
In April 2008, Lucinda’s firm celebrated 25 years of creative excellence and community involvement. During this 25th Anniversary year, Crabtree + Company achieved the significant milestone of becoming carbon free.
Lucinda has served on the Board of Directors for Washington’s Discovery Creek Children’s Museum and is actively involved in promoting children’s health, education, and scientific literacy. She is the co-chair of the Steering Committee for the U.S. Conference of Mayors’ Business Council, and is a national judge in the FIRST robotics competition.
She is currently a member of the Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington, the American Institute of Graphic Arts, and the Printing & Graphics Association. She was honored by the Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington with its Lifetime Achievement Award, given in recognition of her firm’s success and her personal commitment to volunteering for community projects. She has consistently encouraged her staff to contribute their personal and professional energies to the community.
Lucinda graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts.
And one more thing: She’s an accomplished mosaic artist who knows how to pick up the pieces (and glue them down again) to tell a compelling story, in the same way that Crabtree + Company does for its clients. |
