Visiting Africa for the fifth time, C+C President Lucinda Crabtree turned her camera’s lens on Madagascar’s unique treasures: the island’s extraordinary people and its ever-playful lemurs. On her return, Crabtree donated thousands of her photographs to C+C clients Population Services International (PSI) and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). “The people there,” observed Crabtree, “are beset by grinding poverty and the wildlife by environmental collapse. My hope is that these images, in the hands of PSI and WWF, can focus the world’s attention and summon the world’s support.”
